A Slice of Literacy Fun!
Tanglen’s Literacy Night Brings Stories to Life
Tanglen Elementary was buzzing with excitement as students and their families gathered for Literacy Night! The evening kicked off with a pizza dinner, bringing our school community together before everyone set off to explore a variety of literacy-themed activities. It was wonderful to see so many families engaging in the joy of reading, writing, and storytelling side by side.
A special highlight of the night was a visit from local author Matt Eicheldinger. A former teacher turned bestselling author, he is known for creating engaging, relatable stories that spark imagination and connect with young readers. Students were thrilled to hear about his journey and even got a sneak peek into his upcoming work! You can learn more about his latest book by following this link.
Thank you to everyone who attended and helped make Literacy Night such a meaningful and memorable event for our Tanglen community!

Square One Art
Lead our Square 1 Art fundraiser! This is a fundraiser where students submit artwork, which is done in art class, and parents get the opportunity to purchase items decorated with their student’s art. The majority of the work coordinating this fundraiser is in sending emails and distributing flyers. This is a great way to get involved with no experience needed!

Join the Yearbook Team!
Interested in getting involved with the yearbook? The Tanglen yearbook is coordinated, assembled, and edited by the PTO. We have a lead coordinator who is looking for some assistance assembling and editing. We would love your help!
